Jane Xia and Mike Mathay will be co-leaders of the Energy, Materials & Industrials sector team, replacing the recently retired Frank LeCates.
While Jane arrived at OpCap with strong quantitative skills, she has been a quick study in both how businesses work and how to translate that knowledge into effective stock recommendations. Her analysis and insights in the Energy complex, an area OpCap has historically under-invested, have been particularly impactful.
Mike arrived at OpCap with over a decade of experience in analyzing companies and helping senior management embrace better strategic options for their companies. In keeping with his consulting background, Mike has followed a methodical approach to build his investment skills so that they are on par with his analytical talent.
